Myall is the latest project from LA-based singer/songwriter Miguel Tenicela. Growing up in the Washington DC area, he first discovered his passion for music while in elementary school. He picked up a guitar he found in the basement of his childhood home and taught himself how to play. He soon found that writing songs and performing in front of a live audience helped him express his experiences with life, love and all it’s struggles while allowing him to connect with people on a very personal level. In his teen years he established the indie rock band The Baby Grand who garnered regional success playing with acts such as 3OH!3, Anthony Green, Dia Frampton, The Rocket Summer and more. Living out a teenage dream the band went on to play several dates of the 2013 Vans Warped Tour and opened the 2014 Silopanna Music festival which featured The Flaming Lips, Dashboard Confessional and Matt&Kim. Ultimately, Myall took things in a new direction, moving to Los Angeles in 2017 to further develop himself and create a fresh new sound. His goal in experimenting with his sound is to release music he describes as “The most me I have ever been; fully open in my music to offer the listener a window into my heart, my mind and my soul. While still giving them a reason to dance and sing along.” Critics have called his vocals raw, honest and powerful. He is currently working with a team of writers and producers on a debut single due to be released in January 2019. Myall looks forward to being able to use his voice and music to share his true self.
